Before I went on my Euro Trip in 2018, I had gone to EGLX which is basically a video game convention. It was good but we felt it should’ve been bigger and it should be bigger the next time. Not only was this time bigger, it was double the size!
So this time the Podcast team went all together to see how it was going to be this year. There were a lot more games to try especially on the Indy circuit, the retro arcade was bigger and it was just plain and simple more fun.
We even had the pleasure of making friends with some of the vendors, especially Mike from Hellbound: The Awakening who had joined us on a podcast episode to discuss his game with us.
With events like this, don’t’ expect a lot of big name titles to be there, there are a few however. But one thing is that an event like this is more for the Indy scene, since they don’t have the dedicated fanbase or the budget to get huge promotions this is a huge opportunity for them to let the public try their games. And a lot of them were honestly great and a lot of fun!
