I can show you as many pictures as possible of Saxen Switzerland and it will still not do any justice, This place was absolutely breath taking! Fun fact, driving here from Berlin was my first time actually driving outside of North America.
The weather was perfect, and since it was a lot of walking, going down a cliffside and back up it helped a lot. Since I was there in the autumn season, there was plenty of colours to see. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to use my drone there, but it was kind of a blessing in disguise, since the wind was pretty crazy! I don’t have the words to truly describe it, so enjoy the images!
Dresden is a city I wish I spent an extra day in, Dresden was absolutely gorgeous! On the way back from Saxen Switzerland I made a stop off at Dresden to check the city out, one crazy thing about this city, it was completely destroyed during World War 2 however, you could never tell since everything looks to be in tact.
Due to the longer than expected visit to Saxen Switzerland, I got to Dresden in the evening and I had to catch my flight to Brussels at around 6:30 am, so needless to say I didn’t have a lot of time there, but the time I spent there was well spent! The architecture of this city was surreal, and the scenery was incredible. It didn’t feel like you were in a city at all, it felt like you were walking through medevil history.
Being a person of Indian origin, I eat spicey food frequently and not a lot of hot food gets to me, but in Dresden I had a brautworst with one of the hottest sauces I’ve ever had in my life! It was at the point that I needed a full bottle of water to cool off! I never would’ve expected that Germany would have one of the hottest sauces I ever had in my life! When I decide to do another Euro trip, I will definitely take a day or 2 to properly experience Dresden again!
